Bord Iscaigh Mhara, established the Seafood Development Centre (SDC) to offer companies the opportunity to test their products and processing ideas in a custom built facility before committing to full commercialisation and capital investment costs.

Exhibit worked alongside BIM to create a brand guidelines for the SDC and to apply this brand to the entire space. The logo mark uses the letter "C" to create a fish on a hook. This logo mark is used throughout the building, as window and wall graphics.

 

We implemented a simple and contemporary brand that featured large-scale messaging, photography, illustration and vibrant pastel colours. Rather than focusing on the photorealistic aspects of producing and sourcing seafood, the photography and illustration focused on abstract representations of seafood. Simple displays were created with back-lit box shelving.
